willie pep jumped to mind immediately. he gets my vote.
also, no footage exists, but greb was reportedly very fast
a "slick white" if there ever was one was pep ^^
oh im so clever.
i didn't go through the whole thread, but jack dempsey had very fast hands as well and at least deserves mention.
i think bernard hopkins is the self appointed overseer of these sorts of affairs, so only with his confirmation can we be certain on this..
but if puerto ricans are classified as caucasians hector camacho has to get mentioned.
he had it all
footspeed
handspeed
and fluid upperbody movement
and somehow a dynamite chin.. "very strange man" as emanuel steward would say. he was a very unique talent.
i haven't seen his name yet, but like i said, i'm no expert on who is caucasian and who isn't lol.
aaand cue mcgoorty with about 15 aussies from 1891 to 1939
Angel "El Diablo" Manfredy looked fast as lightning to me, at least in his earlier fights like against Gatti. Thats why I liked him, he seemed to have it all, speed, power and technique.
Id say Willie Pep.On the Tszyu issue he had pretty good hand speed in his world championship years but in his amateur days he blazing handspeed and great movement.Have to say reguarly watch his fight with Forest.Beautiful
