The Crappiest Boxers Who Made a Fortune Despite Being Pretty Rubbish

Who in the history of boxing amassed a fortune despite being a crap boxer. Maybe they were in a crappy era or maybe their promoter was a great magician who got them big fights despite their crappy record.
Joe Bugner may be one. He got some title fights and made a lot of money despite not been very good. Do you have others. Were their big money fights undeserved?

Brilliant one. I forgot about him. He made millions off the bbc live coverage. David Haye was all over him. Haye looked great against him.

Billy Joe Saunders - not crap by any definition, that's too harsh, but still just a club fighter with a strap and a million dollar payday he shouldn't have gotten.

I know this one is going to get people pis-sed off at me but . . .

Billy Collins. Despite the tragedy he really didn't have much going except a pretty face, white skin, and TV deal.

I understand the Lewis/Resto cheat but Billy didn't actually do a great job blocking those 'two thousand' pitty-pat punches he took to the face.

Without being cheated, he still wasn't going into the top tier of MWs. Just a 21st Century Chuck Davey.

                  This is pretty obscure, but...

Italian Gianfranco Rosi was a nightmare to watch, but he did quite good with money after defending his title many times - typically in his own country - against mediocre opponents. Whenever he fought someone with a pulse (Lloyd Honeyghan, Vincent Pettway) he was knocked out bad.

Great stuff willie! I wasn't aware of him. Back then media in the UK wasn't always picking up news from the USA.
