Without a doubt. He might have actually killed Glassjaw Wlad.

My list is based on resume, level of competition and longevity. Head to head is completely irrelevant when it comes to ranking fighters because it simply isn't something you can apply as factual.

      1. Joe Louis
      2. Muhammad Ali
      3. Larry Holmes
      4. Lennox Lewis
      5. Jack Johnson
      6. George Foreman
      7. Mike Tyson
      8. Sonny Liston
      9. Evander Holyfield
      10. Wladimir Klitschko
      11. Rocky Marciano
      12. Joe Frazier
      13. Harry Wills
      14. Jack Dempsey
      15. Ezzard Charles
      16. Ken Norton
      17. Joe Wlacott
      18. Sam Langford
      19. Jim Jeffries
      20. Rid**** Bowe

Honorable mention: Oleksander Usyk, Joe Jeannette, Tyson Fury, Max Schmeling, Vitali Klitschko.

I expect Usyk to move up this list before his career is over barring a move back down to Cruiserweight.
I think ranking Lewis and Foreman so high is pretty solid. Liston is somewhat forgotten but he has a pretty good resume. I also think joe Frazier gets underrated nowadays, his resume is better than people realize and he has one of if not the best single HW win ever.

I think Holyfield is way too low on the list though and Tyson too high.

Can't see how Tyson could be ahead of Holyfield.

        But overall, good list.

Maybe im being nostalgic with Tyson a bit, but his winning a title at 20 is mind boggling and an insane accomplishment. It's been 38 years since and no one has come close to that. It was 30 years between Pattersom and Tyson. Maybe im overrating the accomplishment, but it is standing g the test of time like Joe Louis 25 consecutive title defenses. Combine that with the devastating way he cut thru the division, I don't know. It's always arguable, seldom agreeable.

To be honest, I question that's Mike Tyson's real age. But that's sheer speculation on my part but I struggle to believe that he was 20 years old back then, but who knows.

Either way, his resume absolutely pales in comparison to Holyfield's. Holyfield did 10x better against common opposition and he also beat the shit out of him and stopped him as a heavy underdog.

Can't see any logical way that he could be ranked ahead of him.

              Tyson's peak was higher.

Holyfield doesn't blow Spinks out in 90 secs.

Hell, Holyfield struggled a lot harder with a 42 year old Holmes than Tyson did with a 38 year old Holmes, who he completely demolished.

Plus, Holyfield's a confirmed steroid cheat.

You can speculate with Tyson or anybody else, but no proof.

LMAO, the dude is from New York City, not the Dominican Republic.

Cus got him out of a juvenile facility.

His age was well documented by the New York juvenile correctional facilities

Ok and Tyson got beaten pillar to post by Buster Douglas who Holyfield beat up in a few rounds.

With Spinks, maybe Holyfield does, maybe he doesn't. Regardless, Holyfield almost always did better vs common opponents, and also battered Tyson himself and stopped him.

There's no comparison between the two to be honest.

In regards to drugs, we don't have solid, unequivocal proof that Holyfield was on them either. Just very suscpious findings. Mike Tyson is the poster boy for su****ion of PEDs anyway so it's neither here nor there.

Still possible. I just find it hard to believe that a guy who looks 32 at age 14 is really age 14 But it's irrelevant anyway to be honest.

Overall, this is a good list.

My list is a tad different.

Holyfield would have lost to the Douglas who beat Tyson. Your comparison kinda sucks, son. Can anyone think of a HW champion who came into a monster title match in as bad a shape as Buster when fought Holyfield? I really don't think so. Can you? Who was it? Douglas might have beaten any HW that night, and I mean any. But the night Buster fought Holy he probably would have lost to the likes of Charles Martin.

I highly doubt that but who knows, fact is Holyfield battered him. Douglas being out of shape is no one's fault but his own.

I don't think Douglas would have beaten barely any top tier HW's that night. He beat Mike Tyson, that's it. Just because he beat the living day lights out of Mike Tyson doesn't magically mean he'll beat fighters who were vastly better than Mike Tyson.

It doesn't stop there any way, almost every common opponent Holyfield did better. As well as actually battering Tyson himself, which is a decent indicator usually.
