It would have been a great fight, IMO the Frazier people didn't want it. Both men could hurt each other. Frazier is traditionally a slow starter.

        Frazier had 37 fights
        Including
        Five 1 round ko's
        Five 2 rd ko's
        Three 3 rd ko's

That's over a third of his fights ending inside three rounds!

        Slow starter! LOL!

He is pegged as a slow starter vs. good competition. Read about it. Or watch the films for a change.

Any puncher typically ends his tier 2 and 3 opponents early. Okay, now how many ring ranked opponents did Frazer KO?

They do show skills in this clip. Like Johnson - McCarty, Marciano - Patterson, Ali - Stevenson, Klitschko - Ibeabuchi, etc; we'll just never know.
            Yank had his thoughts though.

Thats not what you said, and now,as I knew you would ,you have qualified your original statement and promptly moved the goal posts, as you always do.

Frazier stopped Ring ranked opponents 7 times.
I watched Frazier from the Olympics onwards.

I've seen his trials with Mathis his gold medal win, many of his early his fights and all his fights once he became a contender.

I would agree with you that Frazier being pegged as a slow starter. I remember the wags all saying it back in the day.

As to whether or not it was so I can't say.

P.S. Anyone notice that the referee stopped round two too early, letting Frazier get off the ropes when Ali had him at bay?

I believe Joe Frazier was the first fighter to ever stop George Chuvalo. He did it in 3 or 4 rounds.

Yes, Chuvalo retired with an injury. Or if you prefer he quit early when with a cut. That is how it happened.
