Will Russia dominate boxing in the next decade?

with all the battle experience they are getting, Russia (I say Russia because Ukraine has pretty much capitulated) will have a large population of very hard individuals. If this is the case we may see a resurgence and dominance in boxing by eastern Slavic people.

      What? What? What?

What, Ukraine has capitulated? I didn't get the memo and why are we sending them all those tanks?

What % of the Russian population do you think is actually fighting?

What does soldiering in a modern army have to do with being a better (dominate) boxer?

      From today's news:

Thursday by CIA Director William Burns. “The key is going to be on the battlefield in the next six months, it seems to us,” Burns said at Georgetown University. This involves “puncturing *****’s hubris, making clear that he’s not only not going to be able to advance further in Ukraine, but as every month goes by, he runs a greater and greater risk of losing the territory he’s illegally seized so far,” the CIA chief said.

Not sure about Russia, but some of the Eastern Euro countries are dominating in the amateurs

The Eastern European men are generally over 147 pounds. Let be real, they are not producing any Straw weights, Flyweights, and Batam weights. They are however doing well and producing many heavy weights, crusier weights, light heavy wights and middle weights in the pro's and amateurs. And they are doing better and in greater number at these weights in the pro's and amateur's. If the old iron curtain was lifted-and they started to turn pro in waves before 1996, boxing history would be very different.

One thing I have noticed is they tend to be strong fighters who carry boxing power ( almost all are punchers, some if which rate among all times already ) and not only at heavyweights.

With the war in Ukraine, they are going to be few men fighting age left in Russia and Ukraine. I do not buy the news narrative. It's a blood bath and the USA and Germany is sending in tanks because they are needed for the war. A costly stalemate. Russia has seized land. Ukraine is fighting hard, but not winning the land back.

              Allot to discuss here.
Russian boxing history is as old as England's, (see my post outlining that history), and the optimal petri dish for boxing is a stable country with a large enough middle class to support entertainment income and decent nutrition, combined with a large struggling class to make becoming a prize fighter a fairly viable option; and Russia qualifies.
Political unrest, while making citizens tough, does not support either entertainment or it's subset, sports, so we shall see.
The Russian Ground Forces (Russian: Сухопутные войска [СВ] are largely floundering with their objectives in Ukraine, as they did in Afghanistan, according to the centrist news sources.

Don't trust the western news, Russia has already won. We'll find out though won't we? We don't need to argue now, but we can later.

Watch all the other countries news, and cross reference. You'll see

Ukraine is taking a pounding, even the western news is being rather quiet. I was surprised at the responses instantly buying the U.S narrative. Russia is just growing.

***** only trades in his own currency, history will tell you nations will thrive economically when this happens - separating themselves from central banking.

Caesar, Napolean, Hitler - Russia is shaping up fast but we never hear about it lol.

Remember why Iraq got taken out right? Saddams refusal to trade in USD. low and behold, what resides in Iraq now? a world bank! in a fortress (green zone). look it up!

look up Caesars assassination, the reasons behind it. This is common history boys.

uhhh.....russia will produce some serious boxers in the future??

I got my own theory, the pipeline was one of the reasons ***** was willing to trade in the euro. Once that was destroyed, he sees no reason to not go solo like Napoleon and Caesar (and Hitler, but thats a bad buzzword) Central Banking right now is very angry because the west' leadership is floundering badly. You se Boris ducking in and out of office, he knows he's not the man to face down *****, he's better served drinking ****tails!

ALSO: I wouldn't call it a stalemate, it's a seige. the Seige of Kyiv (sound familiar?) and it's going terribly for Ukraine and right on track for Russia. I'm not some pro Russian commi, I'm just being realistic here. History is correct.

The big thing here is Does he stop, he's got a fair claim on all slavic lands.

maybe after I'm right about this, you will respect my boxing opinion much more sir. If I'm wrong i'll have to humble myself. If it escalates, and it becomes NATO vs Russia, I am allowed to make a new prediction though.
