Ali was hurting at one point, which is why he kept fight for way too long. Same for Larry, he returned for an entire run to make some bank.

But TBE has made it clear that he will not return to competive fighting but will continue YouTube exhibitions . . . so the question is: If PAC gets by Spence and offers Floyd a fight and Floyd refuses . . .

      1. will it diminish his legacy?

      2. is it a 'duck'?
Mayweather has been reduced to fighting 0-0 fighters on you tube. If he keeps taking these fights it will become his legacy.

No chance he'll fight Spence and you imagine him vs GGG these days? Money would get knocked out.

True, but I mean he ended up okay in the end after the Berbick fight, didn't he? I remember hearing about him getting money for speaking engagements, visiting world leaders and later being worth millions. And when watching a Holmes career set, I saw some reports where he invested his money by starting some local businesses in his hometown of Easton, PA. So he must have been doing better than a lot of other boxers that just went flat broke years later after retiring. Haven't heard about Lewis, Leonard or Foreman hurting either.

Foreman is one of the wealthiest boxers of all time, thanks in large part to his Foreman Grills and investments. Holmes was smart with his money too, invested in real estate. Ray Leonard just listed one his mansions for over $40 million in Los Angeles.

Even hacks produce something... What have you produced? Innanity is not a commodity Peaches, and self expression using your feces on the wall is errr... a "questionable" contribution.

He fought Inoki in Japan for a solid payday and Inoki went full-shoot on him.

                - -Hacks tend to be feces on the wall centric, so thanks for examining that little "nugget."

As to Son of Senior, he's already repeatedly shamelessly shamed hisself in his boxing career, but he might want to rethink his exhibition matchmaking after promising much before serving as a punch dummy for Logan.

That was in the 70s though, before his last fight. Should've made it a worked exhibition.

                    - -Ali had 7 more fights after Inoki, going 4-3, 0 KO and getting beatings in every one of them.

Ali got paid $6mil as I recall, but the Japanese wanted a genuine hybrid fight that Ali sought to get dumbed down as the rumors had it Inoki was gonna shove his fist down Ali's throat and pull out his beating heart.

Inoki went in with only 20% capacity of his skills, hence his crab scuttling and kicks that still almost killed Ali.

I think it was a work, but then Inoki started shooting on him off the script.
