Probably Don King's infamous Night of The Rematches in 1994 I think.

I had the pleasure of growing up in the 70’s and most top bouts were televised. So I saw first hand Duran, Canto, Galendez, Saad Muhammad, Ali, Leonard, you name it.

Those few that were not on home TV I generally went to the now long defunct Totowa Ice World Arena to watch on closed circuit TV.

      Most memorable:

      Ali Frazier 3
      Duran Leonard 1
      Foreman Lyle
Duran Bizzarro - crazy brutal KO
      Gomez vs Pintor
      Sanchez vs Gomez

      Too many more to list.

        Leonard-Hearns was a wild event.

100 years ago ... The Main Event and the undercard ... Dempsey could hardly have realized that
Tunney would become his nemesis ...

This. Aired on ABC from different venues. This will never happen again. Weaver vs Tate. Leonard vs Green. Holmes vs Jones and Johnson vs Mustafa Muhammad.

Yeah, I was going to say one of Don King's stacked undercards.

Yeah, I'm getting the urge to rewatch that event on Youtube.

                  - -Interesting anyone here got any pleasure out of watching DKing's mostly fraudulent promotions. Tons of heavies in particular were screwed publicly on a regular basis. Of course King could not exist in an vacuum, so he had Sulieman and a plethora of refs and judges do the dirty work for him...

No one has done a comprehensive boxing history of Don King. HBO had a great doc-drama (with Ving Rhames) that brought his character to light but I would love to read a fight/promotion by fight/promotion history of his escapades.

Right. How could anyone get enjoyment from a card like this when they could be watching Klitschko or Valuev highlights instead:
