i tend to like vampire flicks for some reason.

i really liked the first and second Blade.

Spike TV has a new Blade series that just started. i caught it last night. while the tv actor portraying blade has nothing on wesley snipes as far as body and acting, it was pretty good.
not nearly as cheesey as i thought it would be for TV.
i was pleasantly surprised.

I thought "Interview with a Vampire" was outstanding; but didn't care of "Queen of the Damned"...thought that one was so cheesey you could make a nacho dip out of it. Blade was good II and III....ehhhh. Underworld was alright. Wes Craven's Vampire killers was good from what I remember. Christopher Lee made a great Dracula in those old Hammer films; but I ramble.

anne rice's vampire books were much better than the movies - no big surprise there. still, i did enjoy interview w/ a vampire.

I hate movies that are overproduced, dull, pretentious, and painful to sit through....(smilie)
