The profits made by health insurance companies back in 2008 prior to *****care was 8 billion, in 2015 they were 15 billion, so you tell me which program benefits the insurance companies.

*****care is a bad program and I don't know why people on the left are so adamant about keeping it.

Yeah bread use to be cheaper too.

    It was better ???

    You're fug'n serious aren't you ???

I guess your not one for accountability.

Yeah the status quo ( prev. to 2008) was ideal and people with no resources were taken care of regardless of pre existing conditions.....

Tell me why are you fuggers so quick to repeal what's in place when you have no replacement plan and no fug'n clue ???

Did you just really compare the cost of bread going up $1 in 20 years to healthcare going up $5000 in 5 years?

Jim....I think your guilty of use'n alternative facts.

The bread crack was tongue in cheek.

Don't know where your getting those #s ?

but I can assure you I know no one who's insurance premiums that have climbed up $5000 in 5 yrs. or 10 yrs. for that matter.

Did Trump give you those #s ???

Cause you know president Pinocchio's track record ain't do'n so well.

*****care is right wing because ***** is right wing.....the corporate dems are basically the evolution of the Reagan **********s... ***** Care needed a public option to work but the US is a right wing hole.

That's a graph showing people's payments per month for health insurance prior to the affordable care act being implanted up until today. It went from an average of $200 a month to over $500 a month, you do the math to how much of an increase that is a year.

So are you just completely unaware of the effects of *****care because you're on your parents insurance and are not older than 26 or are you on Medicaid and really don't have to worry about what the payments are because they literally don't affect you?

Public option *****care would be great temporarily because it undoubtedly would be the cheapest option, and id be curious to see how the government would compete with private insurance. My only fear would be that with its huge funds it would be able to offer the cheapest insurance which would hook majority of the population and thus put out a bunch of private insurers out of business and then once they're gone they'd be free to jack up their rates.

Literally noone except for diehard ***** supporters and clueless ******** thinks the ACA is good, or affordable. It is absolute garbage and its sad that the media is trying to argue the opposite just to make Trump look like an ******* for repealing it. I think people from all parties should be thankful, this is actually a blessing.

Sorry....Unaware wouldn't be a word I'd use to describe me.

When it comes to health insurance I've got dual coverage.

Again...I know of no single payer who's insurance has increased $500.00 a month in a 5yr. time frame.

Do me a favor hot shot refrain from mention'n my parents .

                  They've been gone for years.

Let's just say I'm my own boss and older than most in this neighborhood...

The graph you posted shows family coverage health insurance being $12,000 a month in 2008 and then increasing to $17,000 in 2015, literally proving my point about rates jumping $5000.

Your premium (monthly payment) is on average $258.

Your deductible (amount you have to pay before *****care kicks in for bills) is $7,150.

So what this means is that not only do you pay $258 a month ($3,096 a year), but God forbid you land in the hospital you will still have to pay an additional $7,150 before your healthcare kicks in, so if you land in the hospital in December that's means you will pay over $10,000 before *****care starts paying for health care.

Now say you make $25,000 a year, well your monthly premium will be about $50 a month, but your deductible is still $7,150! You still will need to pay over $7000 before you get serious assistance.
You're and idiot. High deductible insurance has been around for like forever even before *****care. I was never on *****care and my employer insurance is high deductible.
You want co-pay insurance, then you'd pay high every month.
