You'd be surprised how much of a difference just a little finger flexion from either side can make. I'm not sure this guy can actually lift 600, which is still a lot.
The assistance must never touch the bar for it to be validated.

Your point is valid as far as professional lifting goes, but there is absolutely no way those 2 men would have been able to pick up 100+ pounds with the effort they exerted. The man on the left side of the screens muscles show no strain, the man on the right does put forth a bit of effort but even its after the bar is already halfway up. If you can get 700 of your chest, you can without a doubt bench 600.

It makes a big difference though because it relieves the pressure on your muscles and allows you to get a second wind. Just one guy watching over you using his fingertips to stabilize the bar makes a big difference.

And you believe with the help of fingertips you'd be able to hit 100lbs over your max? I agree wholeheartedly it makes a difference, just not nearly as much as you're claiming.

No, this was far beyond fingertips. You can gather all the crowd you like as long as none of them touches the bar. If he lifts 600 without any help, that would be quite impressive, especially for a man who spent most of his life in pantyhose.

Lol, I don't really watch either form of football. I find them both to be quite boring, I'm strictly a combat sports kind of guy.

How heavy is the fat one 260 at most, no way in hell does he even lift 500.

Watch a football game, you got 22 tyson-esque athletes running around
Except they would gas halfway through the 1st round.

Hard to believe you're a gifted athlete when you move less than 1000 meters in a 3 hour game, you aren't good enough to both defend and attack and you need padding in case someone hits you.

I got ya. You're just going to argue about anything I say. Fights are starting soon anyway, cheers.

Forget about the fat thing, i maintain a man of his stature whether he's ripped or not doesn't lift 500 pounds.
