    Wilder is very smart

    He knows he is a very limited fighter

    He avoids any unification with Klitschko who was a legend of the game.

    He waits his whole career and God knows how many fights before taking on his first real test in Ortiz.

    The timing of this was significant as Ortiz had looked trash in his last few fights and had aged badly. He sc****s a win with the help of the ref.

    He then avoids Whyte and Joshua for career high pay days. smart move. Whyte then proves he is legit by beating Parker when many thought he would lose.

    He decides to take on Fury now. Again brilliant timing. Over two years out after a coke and booze binge and becoming obese. With a new trainer who is an amateur and with 2 warm up fights against roadsweepers.

    Wilders fans lap it up.

    The guy is a genius at giving himself every advantage.

      This is a lie. Klitschko was committed to Jennings before Wilder was even a champion. Then Klitschko owed Fury an overdue mandatory, which would have been difficult to avoid as Fury was simultaneously the WBA and WBO mandatory.

      Klitschko and Wilder had the same manager, who said Wilder needed two quick defenses before he'd be ready for Klitschko. So Wilder made two quick defenses before Klitschko even fought Fury. Wilder went public in a major article before the Klitschko/Fury fight calling out Klitschko for a fight in 2016. A fight being planned by Finkel for SHO PPV as soon as Klitschko's HBO deal was up.

      Big problem. Klitschko was shockingly upset by Fury, ruining the whole plan.

      But your claim that Wilder avoided unification is ridiculous because Klitschko lost all of his titles the same year Wilder won his title.

              I think the timing of the Fury fight is genius (If it happens). As a Team you have to work together and take advantage of every little thing you can get in your fighters way.

                  Logical? It's biased af as usual. He can put up a timeline which is easy with the benefit of hindsight, but at the time, Wilder and his team said that Wilder wasn't ready for Wlad. Imagine that. A guy being champion of the world says he isn't ready to fight someone! Some champ eh?

                    he could've signed for 15mil to fight Joshua, and all those fights would still be there for him.

                    Instead he wants to fight another 7+ times just to make the same kind of money, and even then he'd need to keep fighting because of the increased cost of multiple fight camps.
