Deontay may not be smart but he is definitely no fool either. At one point he was willing to give up all that leverage to Joshua just to fight him in the U.K.

However, not anymore. He has wised up after Hearn had spurned his counter offer of $50mil and then pulled the rug out from under him just when he was ready to sign to fight Anthony Joshua for a Fall bout at Wembley this year.

However little that Hearn knew that Wilder had a secret back up plan all along that he didn't let on to. Which was, he had been in secret talks and negotiations with Frank Warren and Tyson Fury for a potential bout in December of this year.

After this Saturday night Matchroom Boxing thought that they were the end of heavyweight boxing. As if they were the only game in town to play but boy did Deontay Wilder show them.

They underestimated him. He was playing with a much stronger hand than they had previously thought. It's because with a poker face this little Black boy from the country, this so-called Hillbilly from Tuscaloosa Alabama; Simply outwitted, outmaneuvered Matchroom boxing at their own game. Which not only make him smart but also a Godddamned genius.

The "other guy" said Wilder ducked unification. Unification isn't possible unless you, uh, have a title. When Wilder won his title, Klitschko had already agreed to fight Jennings. So when was this unification supposed to take place? Wilder's two quick defenses were before the Fury fight. How did Wilder duck unification if Klitschko was already signed for a different fight and then lost all of his titles?

Doesn't make a difference?!? You need two exceptions instead of one and it's tougher to get an exception when you're requesting to take a smaller fight. Didn't say it wasn't possible, just more difficult.

So now I'm confused. Please explain why you think that Wilder couldn't have negotiated a unification with Wlad, but AJ could have carried on negotiating with Wilder, even though the WBA had given him a 24 hour deadline to finalise a deal with Povetkin or be stripped.
Didn't say couldn't. You're not confused. You're just lying about what I said. Worse, you're also lying about what the WBA said. The WBA never said AJ had 24 hours to finalize a deal or he'd be stripped. He took a lot longer than 24 hours to finalize a deal and he wasn't stripped. You're completely making things up.
