For me with all the lawsuits it shows the competition is worried, Don't know if it succeeds or not both sides are highly educated and knows the ins and outs I'd like to think PBC covered their as.s

To all the lames happy about this lawsuit ,just shows what pieces of sh.it you are. This has been the best year in boxing in however long in large part because of the the PBC and you guys are happy for this lawsuit and want the PBC to fail ( But they pay their fighters too much , But they have too many dates , But Arum is upset ).

This has been the first weekend in like 3-4 months where there hasn't been a decent fight. And you b.i.tches cry about the best fighting the best but waive your Pom poms for the matches HBO has put up this year and before the PBC the best were rarely fighting the best regardless.

I'm suprised a gladiator sport like boxing has so many ho.e ass fans

"Al Haymon and Waddell & Reed are engaged in a sophisticated scheme to gain control of the boxing industry,'' said Daniel Petrocelli, lead attorney for Top Rank and one of the nation's top trial lawyers.

"As the lawsuit explains in detail, they are violating federal law, defying state regulators and absorbing significant short-term losses to drive legitimate operators out of the business."

It always seemed apparent, but I guess they have to build a case and provide evidence that supports the claim.

I will be honest, I thought he would have been apart of the Golden Boy Promotions Lawsuit as well I was surprised he wasn't part of that group.

PBC clearly has other promoters a bit nervous and rightfully so, at the rate PBC is going and what they pay their fighters and with Haymon being in bed with all of the major networks and now both of the major sports networks ESPN and Fox Sports...where does that leave the rest of the promoters and boxers? ESPN Friday Night Fights being taken away is really damaging. It was a great spot for young talent to develop before moving to HBO or Showtime. HBO is the only alternative for Boxers but even HBO has a Budget, I think Arum said that fighters can only fight on HBO twice a year because they only have a certain amount of dates.

Will be interesting to see how these Lawsuits play out, I'm sure Haymon knew this was coming while he was preparing to launch PBC and in that budget I'm sure it included money for the best team of Lawyers money can buy

Shouldn't Roc Nation be suing then?
Top Rank was basically doing the same thing. Top Rank fighters have only been fighting Top Rank fighters (Manny's opponents not named Floyd), until the PBC came about.

This is the same Arum that said fans don't care about under card fights? Step your game up and put on better cards period.

What about guys like Chavez Jr. and Garcia who were stuck on the sidelines for so long? Haymon treats his guys better, and that is why more people are signing with him. Once Golden Boy folds Arum won't have anyone to work with (When he met with Oscar he probably thought he would get him to bring in all those fighters but guess who they decided to stay with?).

If Scheafer ever gets back it will be all over for these dudes.

Your response, aggressive, defensive and accusatory, is telling.

I maintain your use of the word overpaying is ridiculous.
            Is telling of what Dunn?

Plus on top of that these guys are fighting a lot more times a year. Wilder may have 4 fights by the end of the year. Guerrero had 2 I believe and will probably have another, Porter and Broner had 2 and will at least have 1 more. Same with Spence, Beterbiev, Fonfara, etc. Haymon made PBC and Mayweather vs Pac happen all in the same year.

Bob has sued people before and lost, does that count for anything?

We will see how it turns out.
I never said what Haymon did was illegal, I know part of it is illegal and the proof is the actual check. I'm not a lawyer and never claimed I was, but that doesn't mean I don't know certain laws. Bob is at least half right and I don't know ****, I'm not a judge or been shown a case like a jury thinking differently is denial.

And I never said I agree with Bob, I'm just saying I have more faith and/or trust with a lawyer with a degree from Harvard which just so happens to be Bob. I never said Bob Arum was perfect but we're comparing him to Haymon. Arum has at least been in the same business for 40+ years, not thrown out.

And hey, maybe Al was trying to do something good for his people, I think he's genuinely trying to help boxing grow. He told people "I know I can make boxing big, I can make you guys (his investors) lots of money in 2-4 years. Trust me, I have a passion..." and he sold himself really well and as stated he probably has great intentions.

How he gets there is the issue. Obviously he doesn't mind bending the rules at the very least to get things done. That's fine until you start pissing off the wrong people and it wasn't like he didn't just lose to Oscar already. He settled with Oscar after Haymon was sued for trying to take over the company, him and Schaefer. Now he pissed off Top Rank and well, he might have the best lawyers in the world but they need money and even they probably can't handle that work load. They need to do double the work while there's twice as many people analyzing what they do... twice as much.

I don't like Haymon you very well know this, but I like PBC and as stated, I don't think Haymon is out to just take money ala Don King, he has good intentions. But his reign is looking to be pretty short lived. Forget losing what if he settles each at 50% of what they want? That's still $200 million that's a wrap for Haymon.

The irony of this post...meanwhile the stage is being set for Pac-Bradley 3&4, Pac-Rios 2, screw it Pac-Vargas for Pacs comeback fight
