Hopkins many wins since then against highly favored opponents, puts him streaks ahead. Even James Toney is likely a better fighter now than Pacquiao has ever been.

When is the last time that Pacquiao fought a live dog ?

Let me give you a tip, it was nearly 4 years ago you fkn moron, and guess what..... the entire developed world knows that Pacquiao lost that fight..... hell, check out the look on Pac's face before the winner was announced, he was a beaten man, he knows he lost that fight.

Name one great fighter that Pacquiao beat when the guy was in his prime ?

Pacquiao had certainly not achieved traditional greatness before the highly controversial win/loss to Marquez, and since then he has fought NOBODY except old men, faded champions, and bums, so your undying fanboy adoration is absurd.

Many fighters achieved greatness by fighting under the old divisional system, back when there was only one champion, using same day weigh-in's, and they did it by fighting as the smaller man..... Pacquiao has never done anything like that..... he has tip-toed through the tulips by fighting old men, faded champions, and bums, at catchweight..... what a hype-job.

Truly great fighters always leave more answers than questions, and yet Pacquiao has left more questions than answers. Questions like.....

    * Could Pac have beaten Zahir Raheem, cuz he didnt?

    * Could Pac have beaten JMM in a rematch at 130, cuz he didnt want none?

    * Could Pac have beaten a top lightweight, cuz he didnt?

    * Could Pac have beaten a top jww, cuz he didnt?

    * Could Pac have beaten a prime Hoya, cuz he didnt?

    * Could Pac have beaten Hoya at 154, cuz he didnt?

    * Could Pac have beaten a prime Cotto, cuz he didnt?

    * Could Pac have beaten Cotto at 147, cuz he didnt?

    * Could Pac have beaten a prime Margarito, cuz he didnt?

    * Could Pac have beaten Margarito at 154, cuz he didnt?

    * Could Pac have beaten Margarito with 10oz gloves, cuz he didnt?

    * Could Pac have beaten a Clottey that fought back, cuz he didnt?

    * Could Pac have beaten a genuine jmw, cuz he didnt?

    * Could Pac have beaten a prime Mosley, cuz he didnt?

    * Could Pac have beaten a past-prime Mosley when he first had the chance back when Shane was ranked the #1 welter, cuz he didnt want none?

    * Could Pac have beaten Ortiz (a guy who laid hands on him in sparring - Roach named that session as "the best sparring ever", a guy who beat a fighter who Arum admitted was on Pac's own shortlist, and a guy who was ranked higher than any welter Pac has ever fought), cuz he didnt want none?

    * Could Pac beat JMM now at 140 (Pac's best weight, according to Manny), cuz he will not allow that to happen, 145lbs (a weight that Manny has never made himself ) was the deal-breaker? *** me, that is absurd.

    * Could Pac have beaten Martinez for that vacant WBC title, cuz he didnt?

    * Could Pac beat Martinez at 150 now ("I will fight anyone at 150" ~ Manny Pacquiao), cuz he dont want none? Pac? Manny? Where'd that guy go?

    * Could Pac beat Mayweather, cuz he hasnt?

    * Could Pac pass Olympic Style Drug Testing, cuz he dont want none?

Jeez dude, that is one helluva shopping list full of unanswered questions about a supposedly great fighter

I mean, that list is not complete either, **** we can go right back to fly, could Pac have beaten Too Sharp? Why didnt that fight happen, just like at lw, jww, and welter?

    WTF ?

Are you sure that you arent just drinking the kool-aid dude ?

Because it is inconceivable that a truly great fighter could have a list of unanswered questions hanging over his head that happens to be longer than his list of achievements?

Give yourself an uppercut for being so naive, Pac is a terrific fighter, and likely a great guy, but when Bob Arum admitted that all of the people who paid to watch Pac fight Margarito Mosley and Marquez knew that those guys didnt stand a chance, and that Manny is an "entertainer", he (in order).....
    * looked you squarely in the eye
    * p1ssed in your pocket
    * told you that it was raining
    * laughed in your face

FACT: Even my boy Carpentier was a better fighter than Pacquiao, and my boy Fitzy is hands down at least one whole level above him..... Burley was a much better fighter and he never won a title.

Unless you address those unanswered questions, they will follow you until you leave this site.

    Believe it ^^
you wish, if bhop has achived more , he would've been the fighter of the decade but even him admitted pac is the best fighter right now. he even said that srl " with the right game plan" would've beaten pac. key wrod " with the right gameplan" meaning he belives pac ( as small as he is ) would've been a tough fight for the great srl. pac is one of the ONLY 9 fighter of the decade, suck on that punk!

Did you read another poster say that and decided to run with it since Pac is the biggest duck in the history of boxing. Or, do you honestly believe Pac "blatantly" ducked Jones? If so, can you elaborate more?

Ok Junior Jones had moved up a division, I'll give u that...wtf did he move up for? A few extra packs of Newports? It is ancient history now, but that fight could've easily been made...they aren't exactly breaking the bank moving around divisions that low.

Only a moron would rate a lineal title above divisional supremacy. Lineage is just the man who beat the man, and is often NOT the best in the division.

Back in the day there was a real champion, and no such thing is a lineal "title".

There was only one ladder, and only one way up, so you couldnt tiptoe through the tulips like Pac has done.

Pac did not achieve greatness before the loss to Marquez, and he has fought nobody since then. No top lightweights, no top jww's, and nobody ranked higher 4 at welter. Margarito at jmw, really?

                Diaz ?

                GTFOH

If Pac fought back in the day, he would possibly be a 1, maybe 2, division champ, and nothing more..... he would not have won a title at fly or welter, and he would have had to beat a genuine champion at fw/lw...... as I said earlier, Pac would have had to fight under the old divisional system, back when there was only one champion, using same day weigh-in's, and he would have had to fight as the smaller man, like Armstrong did, and Pacquiao has never done anything like that.

Really? Wasn't Junior Jones career done before Pac made any noise here? I think he was at 130 when Pac had his first marquee fight in the States with the Ledwaba win at 122. And, I could sworn that Jones retired like shortly after...I know he wasn't fighting when Pac beat Barrera.

I don't see how he ducked him.

Guzman? Yes. Soto? Eh maybe I give you that. Jones? No way...

Maybe you're confusing him with Tim Austin? Who was arguably the best Bantamweight around this time...Pac skipped 118 and went straight to 122. Some can say he did it to duck Austin...I wouldn't make that argument. But, I think you could make a better case for that then Junior Jones.

being a lineal champ is being the the winner of division supremacy you dumbass. marquez got owned twice, would have been but one judge got it all wrong with his scoring admittedly. and out of the original 8 weighclasses, pac is a 4 div champ, now go cry a river.
