A fighter moving up a division straight after a bad fight is usually a good indicator that they are finding it tough to make weight. Then we have Cotto turning down a massive payday for a rematch with Pacquiao because of the weight and Pacquiao refusing to move up. This all indicates that Cotto and Pacquiao feel that Cotto is a better fighter at 154. But of course we'll ignore what everything points to and listen to a pea brained idiot like you.
i gave you an example of one fighter going down and one fighter going up

    drained/blownup

the pacquiao-hoya was important because hoya was looking to blow up pac

but i get it, you're a complete moron and couldn't grasp the concept

Fighting Floyd Hatton was the very same fight night weight that he was in all his JWW fights 153 and Floyd was 152 , it was WW tin but they were JWWs fighting for it , understand the dynamics of what your saying kid .

Your quoting numbers with no understanding of what they mean ,, the hype of boxers is put out there just for people like you !
So Marquez moving up to that weight for the first time in his career made no difference right? Then why didn't his body look anywhere near as fit as it did for the most recent meeting with Pac? All of Hatton's success was at jww, he only stepped up to fight Floyd at that weight cause that was the only way to fight Floyd. Do you think if he had a choice he wouldn't have preferred to fight Floyd at 140?

yea, marquez coming in fat vs floyd clearly shows he didn't have to stock up on burritos to make the weight

You moron..Pac weigh in at 139 against Hatton after coming from a 147 fight against Dela Hoya, and had never weighed in below 142 since.. Are you telling me that Pac was dehydrated/drained and still able to demolished Hatton..

A fighter who is comfortable at 147 doesn't move up and then refuse to move back down for a massive payday unless he feels he's weaker at the weight.

A fighter (Pacquiao) that dominated an opponent (Cotto) and wants a rematch doesn't walk away unless he feels the opponent is a tougher fight at his new weight.

Cotto didnt accept the offer from Pac because he had the Mayweather fight.. If he didnt have that, Cotto would have accepted the terms from Pac...

Floyd did look huge in this fight. I don't think he looked huge in the Mosley or Ortiz fights tho like some said.
I think Floyd actually might have to stay at 154 because of the muscle he put on if he goes back down cutting even those few pounds at age 35 could be a disaster.

Who says they struggled to make weight? That's just your assumption cause he beat them. Boxers cut weight for a living, 1 extra pound for Cotto didn't make him struggle against Pac. You can't fight someone smaller and expect them to gain all the weight to make the fight. It's called compromise. Stop making **** up.

Are you a complete moron? Hatton struggled with his weight for years that's why he tried to move up to 147 but he wouldn't be able to compete with the big WW's. Hatton weighed 170+ in between fights and had to lose all that extra weight in training camp. Go look at the pictures of prime Hatton (2005) and then at the ones near the end of his career, he looks sick on the scales.
