So glad this entitled CHUMP lost. Too bad it wasn't by KO. No one cares about his goofy grudge match against Jermall. Let Jermall go fight some legit contenders at 168 before awarding him the Canelo Retirement Bag. Some of us are sick of Al's games.

Lance Pugmire is a pen name. Lance Pugmire is really Cliff Rold, the guy who tries so hard to write like Bert Sugar, but comes off sounding like someone who is trying way too hard. I believe he's the guy who gets people banned on this site for next to nothing.

The constant, repetitive and annoying use of "incoming" is a dead giveaway.

Caleb Plant is as overrated as they come. I hope he still ends up fighting Charlo, so that he can get knocked out. Let's end his 15 minutes (of fame) already....

The muscle wasn’t a smart move and I don’t get why Breadman and plant chose to go into the fight that way then fade in the first half.

I guess they could still fight, as a grudge match of sorts, although Jermall would beat him up.

Caleb's had a really good career thoug. A very good, world class fighter, although not a great fighter. The word great gets thrown around too easily.

But yes, he made millions from the Canelo fight, and am sure got well paid for the Benavidez bout as well. He can relax and enjoy time with his beautiful wife Jordan and family.

Caleb fought like a person scared to be hit, and as if he’s shot as a fighter with an ok skillset! I truly think he should call it a day, although Fulghum lost this week also, I could see him beating the sh_ t outta Plant as well. Plant made money has a family and doesn’t like risk, call it a day and keep it moving.-

Caleb Plant can still fight Jermall Charlo 'What exactly has Charlo been doing these past 2 years inside the boxing ring? Nothing much'.

Pant lost a competitive and very hard fought fight vs Armando Resendez 'There was always a possibility that this could happen, Caleb Plant should just get back in the gymnasium and schedule a comeback fight soon as he is ready'.

Note: I don't think Caleb Plant performed badly vs Armando Resendez 'This was not a performance which we can be compared to Deontay Wilder vs Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang, where a once brutal Heavyweight fighter in Wilder displayed very little evidence of his aggressiveness and top level power. Caleb Plant still clearly showed that he has a top level boxing ability vs Resendez, skill for skill his ability is apparent for everyone to see. But what was concerning was that for the first time, in his career? Plant did seem to fade badly as the fight progressed. Maybe this was due to his training and preparation tactics, or Caleb Plant having difficulties in making the 168 pound weight limit'.

From my knowledge? I don't think Caleb Plant has ever made many complaints about making the 168 pound weight limit 'So Caleb Plant's endurance levels, where most likely a bi-product of his training camp. Ether it has not been the most optimal fight preparation, or tactically him and his team have been incorporating exercises that did not correlate into a great performance come fight night'.

For many decades the Middle Weight Divisions have consistently been one of boxing best divisions 'The Heavyweight Divisions, Middle Weight Divisions and then the Welterweight Divisions. Those divisions seem to always be the premier divisions in terms of competition, prestige and marketability. But for a very long time, I think the entire Middle and Super Middle Weight Divisions have been way below par, both in terms of ability and intriguing match ups'.

To conclude: Since the Bernard Hopkins left the Middle Weight Divisions, and the retirement of Joe Calzaghe and Carl Froch 'the entire Middle Weight and Super Middle Weight Divisions where suffering even back then. But I would say that the 2000's was the last time, those boxing divisions were great'.

And that is why I believe the fight between Caleb Plant vs Jermall Charlo 'Can definitively still happen. Because the match up has a narrative, storyline, and intrigue. Not many Middle to Super Middle Weight fights during this era, have really contained all of those ingredients'.

But of course Caleb Plant will have to fight his way back into contention for such a big fight 'Win a few top level fights, in order to legitimately challenge Jermall Charlo' etc.

The Charlo vs Plant boat had sailed already.. Now it's sunk.

Armando Just turned up the better fighter on the night he had elite stamina; and could have easily gone more rounds, it was him who beat plant, plant didn't hand the win to him, congratulations he put himself on the map.

Let's just be real Breadman is like many of us without ever lacing them up himself, just a huge fan of boxing whereas with me I know boxing inside out with experience as an amateur and professional and have been around for 43 years in the sport hell Plant could have paid me to be a cheerleader, every fighter he has worked with had talent but lacked something Breadman couldn't develop, either a chin or heart!
