I don't understand the hype about Guzman. The guy won his fight with Soto by literally turning his back to him and running at the end. I can understand why nobody would want to fight someone like that. What's it gonna do for your career if you either beat him in a lame fight or get outpointed by his chicken-**** style. Now Nate Campell is a real fighter. A fight between him and Manny would have been an explosion. Pacquiao would beat him though, make no mistake about it. Campell looked drained in his fight with Ali Funeka. We need to see what Nate looks like at 140.

I cant.........
And even though I cant stand him, he clearly got ducked in 2006-2007........Last edited by OnePunch; 05-24-2009, 01:15 AM.

larios and solis were just tuneups. not bad tuneups imo.
the money was in fighting morales , barrera and marquez.
you're in the business. if you had a fighter that could have ppv fights with morales , barrera , marquez would you even think about fighting guzman?

Maybe Arum figures its not worth the risk of putting Pacqiao in with a fighter whose style doesn't particularly match well with unless they are P4P like Mayweather. You fall short against someone #1 in their division but not declared P4P hurts you more in perception. This may come up again if he fights Cotto instead of Floyd.
