i'm giving one to my friend tonight. which one would you keep?

the top is a hungarian ak , shorter barrel , folding stock , more compact.

the bottom is a chinese ak , better condition and it takes my 40-round ****zines. the hungarian only takes 30-round ****zines.

before the first punic war , they were like the richest power in the mediterranean.

controlling the trade from the middle east all the way to the iberian peninsula.

they had the most powerful navy in the world.

had hundreds of colonies throughout the mediterranean sea.

romans didn't even have a navy.

romans copied a carthaginian boat , stick a wooden plank on it for boarding......and beats them.
They just had different attitudes towards war. Romans were a win at all cost type of people where as the Carthaginians were like the Hellenistic kingdoms of fighting a few select battles, then drawing up a treaty, dispanding the army and then go back to farming and trading. Very gentleman like.

I'd probably keep the bottom one, but any weapon that can kill Demise is worth keeping imo.

                that's mean.

we don't need to kill demise.

just a good beating (or several) to knock some common sense into the dumb ****.

knock out a few teeth , teach him how to count from 1-100 , make him read a dr. seuss book......

                baby steps.

that was more the greek city-states.

the hellenistic kingdoms (ptolemaic , antigonid , lysimachian , seleucid , etc.) were professional.

problem was their empires was so big that not enough of clegg's grandparents to go around.

that's why they always fought to minimize casualties and just to get peace deals and concessions. the greek soldier was the backbone of their armies because they didn't trust the native soldiers. they couldn't afford to lose many of them.
