To me I thought it was an early stoppage. If you compare the incident to the Daley/Diaz fight, Daley stunned Diaz and fell on his face but was given the opportunity to recover.

people think that fedor was trying to defend himself because at the end he flipped over on his back like he was trying to defend himself.

the reason fedor got to his back was because dean came in.

i don't think you guys know wrestling too much. watch where dan's knee was on fedor when he was hitting him. also watch dan's left hand/arm is. fedor would have not been able to move to guard to defend himself.

fedor couldn't have rolled counter clockwise because of where dan's knees are.

hendo also was in a position to stop a clockwise turn with his left arm and left leg by just pulling on fedor's left arm or using his left leg to move fedor's if he tried. (to flip clockwise fedor needs to push off with his left arm/left knee) which he didn't because he was out.

if dean didn't come in he wouldn't have been able to turn to his back.

At 7:08 you can clearly see the ref did not assist in the rolling over of Fedor, but he seemed heavily dazed and in no state to defend himself
Stoppage was quick, but inevitable
