2 girls are watching Shaun Of The Dead, and their girl friend who lives across the street calls up and asks what they're up to etc. They can see each other while talking because both of their bedroom windows are at the front of the house. Then they finish the call, and then the two girls get a phonecall from Ghostface and he's like 'So, you're watching SOTD?' and they ask how he knows, he says 'because I'm in the closet'.

So the two girls get the guts to open the closet and there's no-one there. And then Ghostface is like 'I didn't say I was in your closet' and then he jumps out of the closet of the girl who lives across the road and stabs the shit out of her while her friends look on from across the street unable to get there in time

Yeah, I dunno why but I tend to watch sequels even when I have low expectations.

I liked Scream 2 when it came out, re-watched it a few months ago and realised it was crap.

I'll still take unnecessary sequels to films from the 80s-90s over remakes. At least there's a modicum of built in quality just because. But sequels tend to be rubbish on the whole. That's ok in standard slasher films. But since Scream was supposed to be a self satirical, "smart" slasher film, 1 was enough. I did think Courtney Cox looked just a tad cuter in the 2nd film, but she's an overrated **** and not fuckable enough to redeem an inferior film.
