Serious question. How do you see the United States in 25 years?

Thinking back to 1996, the United States was so much different than it is today. They literally ruled the world with an iron fist.

Fast forward to 2021 and quite a lot has changed with China quickly gaining ground.

How do you see the United States 25 more years from now?

I don’t know what’s gonna happen but if Israel gets attacked/nuked then we (USA) are in big trouble.

All modern economic systems are termed “mixed”. We are not fully capitalistic nor fully socialist. Instead we are a fine mixture of both. That mixture varies one way or another depending upon what the nation faces.

Historically all systems like ours mature into a higher % mixture of socialist aspects. This is the case because as decades go by nations realize that this change is necessary. Too much of the nations assets gather at the very top among the wealthy and the system grows increasingly unfair.

So America in 25 years will more closely resemble Canada, England, Germany in terms of gravitating towards universal Health care, more progressive tax system and subsidized college education.

Same **** different quarter of a century.

One thing history will do for you is calm you about the future. We're on repeat.

China's not a serious threat. They're the new Japan. Which was just the new Germany who was only the new Canada which was just the new England which is the OG we better be scared of them because their economy grows so fast.

China won't do **** but be a real nation now. When our grandparents were our age no one would have included China in with Japan, Germany, Canada, and England.

Thanks for quoting that post, otherwise I wouldn’t have gotten the chance to laugh at it.
