Agree with what everyone else said but also workout that mind too. Push yourself to do the things you don’t want to do but know you should. There’s healthy levels of stress in life, we all need to be pushed back on sometimes.

Not taking the easy route out is something I’m trying to work on at the moment. I’m not big on confrontation (I used to either avoid it or get pretty angry) but the more I pull people up on stuff (respectfully) the easier it gets and the more confident generally I feel negotiating in work and personal life.

        Keep it simple:

Work legs two days a week and upper body three.

        Upper body
        Curls
        Press
        Bench press
        lat pull down
        Row
        Upright row
        Crunches

        Lower body
        Squats
        Leg extensions
        Leg curls
        Calf raises

Heavy weights and low reps with multiple sets are the key.

        Mentally?
Decide on a degree path and start taking courses toward it. Even one course a semester to start is fine. Then build to more as you gain confidence.

Follow this course of action and you will wake up one morning at some point in your future with a super strong body and a college degree.
I want to become a rapper.

Get your education. You will understand better the world around you and have marketable skills. The odds of getting your degree are fairly high if you apply yourself. The odds of being a successful rapper are one in a million.

How do you get strong physically?
Move more. Do more physically demanding tasks. It's all relative to what you want to achieve or do. But the general idea is to move your body more and do things that make you physically tired.

I don't believe the gym or "working out" is for everyone.

                It's not.

If you like to swim, then swim. Swim often and swim harder. That has zero to do with planks, pushups, or lifting weights. You don't even have to be in a gym to swim. But you'll get stronger. Then that will build momentum and you'll want to do other things or become an even better swimmer. At some point, maybe taking it to the ocean or a big lake etc.

If you like riding bikes. Then ride bikes often and ride bikes faster. Go up big hills. Go longer distances. You'll get stronger. Same concept as above. It'll build momentum and then you'll want to be a better cyclist or do something else. And you'll move into it or do things to make you even better at riding a bike.

Start by walking. Maybe it'll turn into running. Then you'll do things to run faster or longer. Or that walking will turn into hiking and before you know it, your hiking mountains and doing hiking challenges.

                You'll become stronger physically.

How do you get stronger mentally?
By reading. There is nothing more to it.

In what ways do you want your mentality to be stronger? Self confidence? Not caring about social pressures? Life? Social interaction?

                Well, read.

You read things based on those aspects. Read things about self confidence or carrying yourself in the way you imagine would be good for you.

You read things that make you look at the nonsense on this very website for example and think, "okay, whatever" and not be pressed about it in any way the rest of your day or your life.

Getting stronger mentally is best done through reading.

And then a matter of greater importance.... Applying what you've read, constantly. In the moment, all times. If you slip, that's fine. Recover, self-reflect, and begin applying immediately after.

That's how you get stronger mentally.

You can listen to podcasts, an audiobook, or watch videos as well but the medium will deliver information differently and likely receive it differently than just honestly, reading.

                That's my take on it.
