Sylvester Stallone is an absolute GARBAGE actor

He doesn't have great range but he fits very well in some roles. He does have some moments in certain movies. He is not a terrible actor.

Rocky 1 is my only favorite film and his arthouse return with Tarver to Creed because when it comes to boxing and hard knocks it’s ironic that he’s on point writing them despite the fact that he’s a multimillionaire.

Rocky 1 is just too good. The story of a loner, a bum, who proves everyone wrong. When he looks at himself hard at his childhood picture coming home... most men should relate to that to see if the NOW is where they want to be. He gets pass because of Rocky imo.

We don't agree often...Rocky is my favorite film. I still choke up at the end watching it. I remember when I showed it to my ex wife, i basically told her "People will have told you this is a movie about boxing. It's not." And after the movie she told me how surprised she was how good it was, because the stigma around that flick. It's just such a beautiful story.

When Rocky (Or First Blood, but I think it was Rocky) was released, the critics said that Stalone would be the next Brando. I'm not making that up.

He can act in the right movie with the right director. Just like John Wayne....he acted very well in John Ford movies because Ford pushed him to ACT. Both Stallone and Wayne made a million movies that were made for their fans and their roles were presented for the fans enjoyment, not for the Academy.

But Stallone COULD NOT DO COMEDY. He was terrible at it. Probably because he takes himself too seriously.

The guy has the exact same depressing ass voice and depressing look. Okay the rocky series was good but that's only because of the story basically and anyone could have fit in that role. Every other movie that guy has been in has been in his acting has been straight garbage.

Who's ***** did this guy have to suck to get all of these roles???
