Stallone is mainly known for action roles so his range as an actor tends to get overlooked but his ability is underrated. Stallone is a great actor. Rocky alone clearly shows his range.
I love Stallone’s style of acting.

Who's ***** did this guy have to suck to get all of these roles???

Rocky 1 is just too good. The story of a loner, a bum, who proves everyone wrong. When he looks at himself hard at his childhood picture coming home... most men should relate to that to see if the NOW is where they want to be. He gets pass because of Rocky imo.

Has anyone, ever, in the history of man, claimed Sly was a great actor? what awards has he won? I think he holds the record for Razzie awards if they're still doing those.
He was, like Arnie, a big muscular guy who was good at doing his one routine and Hollywood created situations he could do it n, because he made money at the box office. I'd rather watch Demolition man or Tango and Cash than all this woke left wing Hollwood gayness we're getting now
He actually does have a few honest to goodness good performances in his history, the first Rambo, the First Rocky, Cop Land.

I was taken to see this in the pictures as a kid 'I must of only watched it once since then'.
Sylvester Stallone was one of the last of his kind 'Old school Action hero'. The only action hero's you see getting a big push these days are comic book hero's etc

Action star actors are kinda in their own genre of film/acting & the demands of the job seem as much about your physicality as your acting chops often times.

Generally you do have to know someone or be a member of a certain group to get through the doorway in hollywood.
