A civilian with a gun would have likely just made things worse. In a packed environment when people are scrambling to escape and have to break windows to get out, the likelihood of a “good guy with a gun?stopping the shooter is slim to none.

Studies have pointed out that in these scenarios, 80-85 percent of people are “sheep?...meaning they follow the crowd.....who are mostly trying to escape.

5 percent are “heroes?....those who will attempt to help.
Whole the remaining are “lone wolves?br />
Statistically speaking, the ***** and NRA narrative of blaming the victims for not being armed....just doesn’t add up.

In MA we just enacted a 'red flag' law where law enforcement can confiscate the firearms of people who are deemed dangerous due to mental illness. I think states like CA should enact similar laws. Mentally ill people should not have guns.

All these shooters seem to be on some meds.

A VA psychologist and psychiatrist both told me if they could recommend marijuana for returning Vets they would vs pharmaceuticals.

If he didn't get it legally he would've gotten 1 illegally. I am all for people owning guns, in fact I promote open carry BUT there are just way to many guns floating around. The legal and illegal market for guns is a multi billion dollar industry and the supply is endless.

We're never gonna be able to prevent all mass shooting but we can certainly minimize them and the carnage.
