What's your point about guns? If someone is motivated enough they can always get one illegally.

Someone who has a legal gun, snaps, and then goes on a shooting spree might as well just take a vehicle and plow into a crowd, and cause just as much or easily more damage.

Show me the law, In any state, mandating off duty police action. Id like to see it. more interested in cali though. But I would be shocked if its mandated anywhere in the Union. Take your time. Ill wait wanna be lawyer...

The truth. All my police buddies and wife (PO) leave their guns at work. Department insurance does not cover off duty discharges of weapons. One would be insane to take that risk. The shot better be good..and the state in which shooting are combed over one better be damn sure the shot was good.
THe bills for lawyers if arrested and the impeding civil judgment would bury you alive.
