Lol we'll never know for sure, but I think it's safe to say that the color of their skin prolly ran the gamut from extremely light, to very dark.

I think some of the darker skinned ones prolly looked like Ethiopians, or Sudanese people.

And the lighter ones probably looked like the Berbers we see in parts of Northern Africa:









This is just my guess based on the location of Egypt, and the populations most commonly found around the area.

The average Egyptian prolly didn't look much different than the average Egyptian today.

Some actually did have red/blondish hair, but some also probably died their hair with henna.

I think because a lot of the population was based on Mediterranean peoples we find in Northern Africa today.

Egypt literally is located at the crossroads of so many different societies, and cultures.

That's why I think it was multiracial from the very beginning, with majority of the population being a Caucasian Mediterranean people., with an admixture of Northern/Eastern Africans like Sudanese, and Ethiopians.

Lastly, find me an unbiased research that doesn't link Egyptians to the rest of Africa. One look on Kemet painting tells you that you are looking at Native Africans. Subsequent invasions eventually changed their genetic make-up and skin color. Make no mistake about it they were Africans.

The most accurate post I have seen here yet on this ridiculous debate. Both white nationalists and afrocentrists are deluded, it all comes from insecurity and inferiority complex which is strange from the whites in particular since they already have so much impressive history to be proud of.

If any of you goofs want to see what Egyptians looked like go to that country and see for yourselves. The purest group there being the Copts, strongest link to the ancient ancestors. Light olive skinned to medium light brown when tanned and similar features as middle eastern ethnicities.
