I mean really SOC was decent, Creed was decent, Concussion was trash. And then you have Beast of A Nation, very good movie but Idris wasn't even the main male character, how can he be nominated for Best Actor.

Plus it was a web movie so it can't be nominated for best picture.

The question that has to be asked is who would you take out, many of the actors put their soul into their role. It's unfair for you to just say take him out because of racist. You reason has to be more solid than that.

There's real world issues at hand. Will Smitt not being nominated after a **** performance, in which he made millions of dollars, isn't one of them.
That's exactly it. It's true there is no diversity but drumming up movies like creed and Compton being snubbed to support their argument, is laughable. Just because a movie is enjoyable doesn't make it Oscar worthy. If that was the case there would 100's every year that were snubbed. If they wanted to make a case they should have brought up the actress in a movie called Tangerine. That's the type of movie and role that the oscars usually nominate. Her being left out is actually a snub.

Guess someone failed to tell Jada that the AMPAS is made up of ******** from the Hollywood entertainment industry, so................they can't be racist.

The President of the AMPAS is Cheryl Boone Isaacs, an AFRICAN AMERICAN woman. So..........is Jada calling this African American woman racist against African Americans? Does Spike still want to say that it's old white men making the decisions? Yeah...........whitey did it, LMAO.

Wow, it looks like the Oscars are virulent racist. What does a person of color gotta do to get a break in that close minded society? Sad!

There world is going to be a sad place when people are given positions out of obligation. Some sort of PC quota that requires all sorts of people represented and hired based on that alone.

'Oh shit, Steve. We lack a fuckin' Asian and we need to hire one before next week. We've got the equality inspectors coming on Monday and last time they came they gave us a tirade of shit 'cause we didn't have a transgendered person. Go outside and get that noodle vendor to set up shop in our lobby next to reception, that'll show 'em.'

Total non issue. I didn't realise the Oscars had to have Affirmative Action.

Maybe next year the Academy will notice Ride Along 2, 50 Shades of Black and Kevin Hart.

I think Chris should stay, and roast their asses on live television. That would be pretty awesome.

Actors should be judge on their performances. No one should win for the sake bringing diversity. Next year I want an Asian, Latino, and Albino nominees.

The judges need to be changed and YES add more diversity to the panel I stopped taking Oscars seriously when they gave Departed all those nomination and ignored infernal affairs just a few years earlier
