Eh this is one of those things where ..yeah there is some truth to what they are saying but (and considering some of the horse **** that got nominated) there examples weren't great either. There are a lot of problems with the oscars and this really isnt one of the worst offenders of those issues at this point. Their way of judging movies in general needs to change not just black movies. Even if you fixed this one problem it would still be just putting lipstick on a big.

The issue is not that blacks aren't nominated, it's the lack of the roles available. I just don't see how this is gaining steam off of Compton and Creed. While both happened to be 2 of my 3 favorite movies from last year (Mad Max the 3rd) I don't see why they would be considered snubs. Even if they had an all white cast in either movie, they are not considered "Oscar" movies.

Now if you look at guys like Matt Damon being nominated over Elba and Smith you might have an argument. I just don't see the hype.

As I said before the biggest argument they have is the Fast 7 song not being nominated. As ridiculous as it sounds.
