It depends on how old the fetus is. If the woman is only 2 months pregnant, it is totally different from her being in her 7th, 8th or 9th month. Was the murder targeted at the unborn fetus? Was the fetus old enough to be considered a viable human being capable of survival outside the mother's womb?

Let's say two months. She wants to have the baby, gets killed, and dude is charged with double homicide. On the other hand, she's two months pregnant, doesn't want the baby, and trips herself down some stairs. Magically, in such a scenario it becomes jot a murder.

In any case, can a 2 week old newborn baby survive by itself without help? Why is that the magic line? Why not let science decide when life begins, since we are so quick to beat our chest about science?

Let's be honest here. This is the case of a dude wearing a wig and a dress and expecting to be able to hang out in the girl's locker room.

And what do you think the incentive is, other than to be recognized as a girl? Cause if the issue is that Perry will be attracted to the other people in the locker room, aren't there already gay women in there? (And gay men in the men's locker room for that matter?) On that note, how do we even know that Perry is attracted to women?

Now if the issue is related to other girls seeing a naked pre-op trans***ual, than I think it is reasonable to expect some degree of modesty for the comfort of the other people using the locker room. Keep in mind that most pre-op and transitioning trans***uals are quite uncomfortable changing in the locker room and aren't dying to expose themselves, so they will generally try to change in a way that does not expose whatever they got going on. If they can't do that, I think it is reasonable to request a curtained off area or some other accomodation that will allow that person the dignity of not being forced to use a facility intended for a different gender while also not pushing the others in the locker room to be exposed to said person's private parts. It is my understanding that this is a common viewpoint for LGBT groups, but I'm not sure.

And lastly, what even makes her a guy in your mind? You said in the other post that she has a penis, a fact that you cannot possibly know. And why should she have to prove whether or not she has a penis? When have people whose appearance matched the gender that they identity with ever been asked to prove that they have this or that genitalia, chromosomes etc before they can use a particular locker room or bathroom?

A two month old fetus is not a 'baby' and would have no chance of completing it's development into a viable human being outside the womb. A 2 WEEK old is just a fertilized egg. I'm fine with letting science decide when a fetus is developed enough to be considered a viable human being. For now, I will accept the cut off date for a legal ******** as the defining line. In the majority of US States, that is between 24 and 26 weeks which is when science deems a fetus to be viable outside the womb.

I sure don't want some religious nutbar making the decision. Might as well base it on Dune or The Lord of the Rings as they are as valid as any religious text for such decisions.
