We probably wouldn't run it like we do the olympics, but I guarantee you if as many kids that play football here or baseball and what not played soccer and it was our most popular sport, we'd produce a lot better players. It's a numbers thing, if the number of kids that play football here played soccer, we'd be a lot better.

Look at the womens. Proof right there, it's the most popular sport here for women besides mayyyyybe basketball.

You guys won a lot in the stone age of tennis, and when the rest of the world started producing better players, you guys got Andy Murray as your best. Cong****. Ya I completely agree, my point was when developed countries commit the same resources and earn valuable experience, the playing field levels out and no one really dominates. Which is why I referenced hockey, once other countries caught up, Canada doesn't win every gold medal anymore. Olympics are different you guys are fanatical over them lol and invest a lot, other countries don't care as much. The only sport you'll always dominate, even if others catch up, is football and that's because nobody eats like Americans so that 360 pound lineman who can run doesn't exist in the rest of the world.
