On this you are correct, people still believe certain things. One of the fears I had becoming an atheist years ago, was the fact that everything that had been taught to me as a child, was still there.

What if there is a hell, what if there is a god? I would wonder these things but I realized they are nothing more than the indoctrination of this delusion that was force fed to me.
