so his last two items are right on point (force others to believe and infringe on others rights) but if you believe in something and you hold that to be true....how do you not pass that on to your children?? to state that is an exercise in futility is it not?

Because I believe that indoctrinating children with your religious beliefs essentially robs them of their natural curiosity regarding the world around them. Especially when you're filling their head with poisonous bull**** like the idea that humans are incapable of doing good without God, that those without faith are vile, or that they'll burn and suffer for all eternity in the fiery pits of hell unless they turn out exactly the way you want them to.

To me, that's a form of child abuse, and again falls under the category of forcing your beliefs on someone else. Your child is a human being, a very impressionable one at that. It's not some storage locker for you to fill up with your mental baggage before it's old enough to think for itself.

Religion is beleif in someone else's experience. Spirituality is belief in your own.

The bible is one of the many ancient cases of literature I read, and I read all of them with an open mind,never a blind one.

I can't know what could have been doctored or lost in translation, but you can always see truth when it exists. Truth is inescapable and holds the same weight in any language.

They mostly join together to form ****ty black metal bands that are vastly overrated within the genre by ******al cybernerds with baphomet tattoos. Occasionally, they'll leave polite suicide notes before slashing their wrists and shooting themselves in the face at point blank range with a ******* so the band will have a nifty album cover for their next album, burn down multiple churches, or stab fellow band mates 26 times in the back over a petty dispute and then claim self defense afterwards.

Absoultely. You can believe anything you want and so can others. No one should force their beliefs on you, and you shouldn't on others, and everyone should respect eack others beliefs.
