Belief is only something that exists in the mind. Our actions define who we really are.
And God demands child sacrifice and insatiable blood lust carried out in his name. What are you doing to please your master?

A good man who doesnt believe in God is still a good man. A guy who kills in the name of God is still a murderer.

          Belief means nothing without action.
Man who kills, repents = Heaven

Man who lives a great life, doesnt believe = Hell

I don't have a master man. My will is the same as God's will. I want to be an honorable man, God want's me to be an honorable man. I want to help others. God wants me to help others.

I don't know God enough to know exactly what he wants, much less something specific like sacrficing a child which sounds like someone on pcp would think of. All I can do is follow the principles of good. Love, Patience, Forgiveness, Wisdom, Understanding, We all know it. It's programmed into the human spirit. We are however a product of our environment and the world is turning into **** because we are letting it.

You should read your bible more often.

My thoughts have already been summed up on this topic umpteen times. But for clarity, refer to what Barnburner said. Verbatim.

Religion is beleif in someone else's experience. Spirituality is belief in your own.

The bible is one of the many ancient cases of literature I read, and I read all of them with an open mind, never a blind one.

I can't know what could have been doctored or lost in translation, but you can always see truth when it exists. Truth is inescapable and holds the same weight in any language.

so his last two items are right on point (force others to believe and infringe on others rights) but if you believe in something and you hold that to be true....how do you not pass that on to your children?? to state that is an exercise in futility is it not?
