No Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, David Fincher, Paul Thomas Anderson, Milos Foreman, or even a new young gun on a roll like Ben Affleck. The guy has made only 3 movie's, but all 3 have been good so far. Gone Baby Gone, The Town, and Argo.
But yet you include Antoine Fuqua, who hasn't made a good film since Tears of the Sun or Training Day???
Eastwood is one of the best, yes sir. Average and overrated actor, great director. Mystic River is one of the best films of the 00's and Unforgiven might be the best Western ever.
Hitch**** is a legend, but I find is puzzling you didn't include Kubrick and Scorsese, who are as great, if not greater.
Ridley Scott is good, made a ton of good films. He hasn't set the world on fire lately though. Hopefully The Counselor with Fassbender, Pitt, and Bardem gets him back on track. Body of Lies, Robin Hood, Prometheus, I just felt very underwhelmed. But no one can deny he's made great films like Alien, Blade Runner, and Gladiator, to name just a few of his greatest accomplishments.
No Spielberg??? The guy's resume has some dud's, but many great one's too.

It doesn't help that I watched most of his films after hearing all the hype, and I just don't find them that funny. I have the same problem with most of Woody Allen's films.

Michael Winner is up there on the P4P ratings list.
But. . . . Andrew Morahan, who usually directed music videos had a stab at the Highlander 'franchise' with Highlander III: The Sorcerer.
I remember it as the single worst film I've ever seen. So he's up against the wall. . . sorry, 'on the list'.

I didn't like The Tree of Life but Malick is a good call, I like Badlands and The Thin Red Line.
As for another crap director... Tim Burton.
