I asked if you believe it or not and this guy said people who believe it are ******ed. I do believe in God but I didn't bring that up, I just wanted to know your opinion yet one of the first responses was insulting.

Consciousness is independent of the body so yes there is something after death, just not what we traditionally think.

there are so many things in this universe that we have yet to understand - hell, we haven't even explored what, 90% of our oceans..... so to say that we fully understand the limitations of a human being is a little premature..

however, there really is no evidence right now that supports the belief of an afterlife, so you can't knock the guy who holds that point of view..
