Oh, so your one of those "I'm Christian so the Old testament doesn't apply to me"

LOL read your Bible and what Jesus said in the NEW testament about up holding the old laws.

You believe in the 10 commandments don't you? Guess where they are, in the OLD testament.

    You can't pick and choose....

And neither can you pick and choose (which you obviously have no problem doing.)

I suggest you read more than the Torah and understand the fundamental differences between the old and new testament. Let me help you out, old and new covenant.

And yes, the old laws are still to be upheld. Whoring around, murder, stealing, etc is still a sin. But what came about with Christ's atonement of sins? Hint: objectively read more than the Torah and you'll understand. Hint #2: let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Hint #3: old and new covenant....

So what you're basically saying is Jesús is a massive hypocrite. First he says to obey it and then says you don't have to. Typical picking and choosing tactics as usual

So....you're either intellectually dishonest, or just too much of an intellectual peasant to understand. Do we flip a coin to determine this, or....?

He's not being intellectually dishonest though. Christ himself said that the old covenant should be up held, and that not a tittle of the law should be changed

So which is it? Which laws do we obey? Which do we discard?

Do you know there are also 613 commandments, not just the 10. Why not follow those?

See, this is the problem. No matter how much you want to act like you know what's in the Bible, you have no clue. Neither do I or anyone else, because it's a book that is vague at best.

In one chapter Christ is telling you to love one another, and love thine enemy. In the other, he's saying everyone who doesn't believe in him will be tortured for eternity.

Or that you should kill your enemies and non believers. It says one thing, does another, then does a 180 and tells you to do something else....LOL

Basically, when reading it, you can tell it's not divinely inspired, it's just what it is. A book written thousands of years ago, by Bronze age people who used it to control others.

Don't take it as offense though, they did it in every culture and every part of the world. From the Pre-Colombian Americas, to Ancient Greece and Asia.

Don't give me that nonsense, you're trying to say the Old Testament is just for the ***s, and you're calling me dishonest?

                  Bro, wtf....

Did I not just address that? Did I not just state Gods law still exists?

Do you not understand what 'atonement' means? Did you skip over the part(s) of the bible that states judgment is reserved until judgment day, when Christ returns?

Are we picking and choosing, or just trying to be a twat?

Yep, aware. Obviously there's no point in getting into it, as you have demonstrated I'll just be wasting my time.

But should you choose to want to learn about them, and why christians don't obey everything that the ***s obeyed, I'd suggest starting out with learning about the laws. They were separated into three categories; judicial, ceremonial, and customary. Why? I'll leave that for you to answer.

Also it might be expedient to learn the differences between a *** and a gentile.

Actually, I never said that, so thank you for proving your dishonesty...
