Maybe the Devil created it and the Devil is really God is really the Devil.....

        Think about that one.

If you don't know who God is, then your best course would be to tread lightly.

Ok so your going to look at it this way...then ok

                So god created drugs...why?

To test our faith, to abstain from them, to separate us from the disbelievers

Because if you do believe in god, then you dont believe this is the only world you will live...this is your exam and depending how you do can result in you ending in one of two different places

Thats if you were going to look at it that way

The only certainty in this universe is science

The furthest reaches of science in the quantum field has shown us that there are no certainties.

Even all of our laws of reality and physics might not exist in other realities.

Even if Science discovers all there is to know in this universe, which is impossible by the way, then what about everything beyond the universe, that we can't even fathom.

I believe only small minds can think this is the only world there is. That what they see with their eyes and imagine with their small minds is all there is. We live in a time-less, bound-less existance that we will never understand or be able to explain.

We might as well be ants.

But even ants have a purpose and a right to live.

                    "Go to the ant, you lazy one;
study its ways and become wise!
                    It has no commander,
                    no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest."

                    - Proverbs 6:6- 6:8

It confuses me as to why some religious people love to celebrate ignorance. Not only celebrate, but exaggerate.

Its such a obvious contradiction: Claiming that we only know less than a fraction of all there is to know.

How do you know how much there is to know?? lol

You say we know nothing, and that trying to figure things out is a waste of time, yet use quantum science in your argument. Plus, of course, you claim to know God and all his superpowers.

Ignorance is being held onto like a life float, for its the very thing that leaves room for belief in the supernatural. The ironic thing is, science needs ignorance in order to progress. Thats what science chips away at. But its the naysayers that want to desperately cling onto mystery, magic and miracles, because they want a loving god and eternal life as oppose to the wonders of the universe which they struggle to get any emotional comfort from.
                      I can understand that.
But i dont want to be fooled by beliefs that comfort me. I gain comfort through the knowldge im part of the universe. And that search for truth and reality that we are part of.

Actually, getting stoned and listening to Neil DeGrasse Tyson is quite a spiritual experience.

God must of put weed there, so we can go "whoa!". Because most of the time, we take life for granted.
