    He said I was in his face. That I wouldn't leave him alone.

    I was standing about 6-12" away from him while he was in a seated position. He got up and approached me...attacking me.

    How the **** was I in his face?

    He might mean metaphorically.

    Your words were in his face. My mum occasionally does it. The argument finishes and she ****ing starts it up again, and its just like "WDF! i swear you said you had a headache!!!". If that makes sense.

      Dont worry about it. It doesn't matter if you were "in is face" or not. He is the one that decided to get physical. Its his only defense really. He knows he ****ed up and so does the judge, cops etc.

        Thanks...I guess I just need to hear it. Looking back, he said that a lot. Even if I was 3-4 feet away....

        I'm just devastated by everything...my kids are hurting too and that breaks my heart more than anything.

                I cant really say because I dont know the whole situation you guys have to remember your only hearing once side and its muffled, if you explained the whole thing clear we might give a good evulation.

                But unless you had a knife to the guy dont know why he attacked was he drunk?

                    No, he wasn't drunk.

                    For years he told me I was the one with the problem..that I needed to get help. So I did. I got counseling...it helped me to see that he has anger problem...helped me see that he's the one with the problem....

                    and yes, you only hear my side...but knowing me as you do on these boards....you've heard me admit when I screw up..make a mistake, misunderstand something and "stand corrected". I'm willing to compromise, he hasn't been....and he hit me.....says I wouldn't leave him alone...we'd only been fighting for less than 10 ****ing minutes.
