I have to agree with Rick here. I'm from the old regulars of the forum when these forums were the best on internet, bar none. I've been here since October 2003, good luck finding another that has been here this long because most have left and with good reason.

It's become unbearable to read anything of interest in these forums anymore because it would require hours of weeding through the flames and trolling to find the good stuff and frankly it's not worth the time.

I'm beyond happy for those of you who are so mercifully free of the ravages of intelligence that you are thrilled to read (decipher) 95% of the posts here.

But... I feel that Rick should close the forums for his own sake of being an excellent boxing fan and having to endure what he does to maintain something that has escaped it's original value. It holds very little for him anymore I would imagine and I don't blame him, I only come for the articles now, check the forums maybe once of twice a month.

if this part of the lounge is destroyed, there will just b an abundance of ******ity amongst the avid actuall boxing talk...those threads will turn in2 what these are....this is a good release, the same as boxing is a relief for anger management, trouble.etc.....I originally joined 2talk boxing, but in the past few months aint been **** 2talk about well long enough 2keep me occupied...the training and nutrition part are the **** as i get 2help people...This forum gives me a place 2speak my mind, look at hot chicks and get a good laugh when needed..if this is taken my heart will b broken and my soul crushed

Whats the point in closing? Just because the OG'S have left doesnt mean it shut down...I mean consider it a transistioning period...I could see if it was a bandwith issue but that doesnt seem to be the problem here. The lounge is considered and actually labeled uncensored so whats the problem with the post? I dont visit the lounge a lot but mainly post in NSB, if people dont like the lounge *shrugs* it does give a warning...People are not obligated to visit the lounge...Seems mindless for the reason, but the quality has gone down but no reason to shut it down to shut us up.

Nohero, now there's a name I haven't seen in a while good to see you m8. While I hear what your saying I don't think the rest of us should be punished because of a few clowns, I mean I don't post in the lounge but I always have a look(Some of the stuff is first class comedy I have to say) if you come in to talk boxing but want a bit of a laugh as well then your sorted, and there's a good few of us old members still here so chin up!
