I thought Scarface would be dominating this poll. But I prefer Scarface over Good Fellas.

I what way can Scarface be better than Goodfellas?

Acting, story, action. Its all Goodfellas. Pachino isnt even at his best in Scarface.

Scarface is for kids. Goodfellas is for men.

There isn't one thing Scarface has superior to Scorcese's movie.

Good Fellas was funny kind of, but Scarface was an awful movie and it some how became popular like 30 years after it was made producing a bunch of lame t-shirts for ppl who want to pretend to be gangsta.

All of the characters are boring and it's basically just a violence fest with no substance. I had high hopes for the movie and was pretty let down when I saw it. The ******uous undertones were a bit disturbing as well.
i like disturbing, it adds to the mystique.

                  no story line?

cuban refugee/gangster comes to the us with no chance and is stuck with all the other fools coming over (sent to us specifically by castro) and has to murder a political prisoner to get out of the camps. he does this and has work as a dishwasher. then he gets a chance to enter the violent drug market, situation happens with colombians. he immediately uses his balls to go over his small time boss' head to meet the main guy. then he navigates the tricky road of corrupt cops, gangsters, and a double crossing of his boss. he becomes so high on the gangster life he becomes paranoid and destroys his relationships with his sister and wife and goes down in flames.

(also, please remind me what other movies had the same story? as I can name some that are very similar to goodfellas).

other way around. Scarface was written by Oliver Stone and directed by Brian Depalma (The Untouchables and Carlito's Way amongst many others) so it's not like there's no credentials there.
