The 80s were the decade in which I had the most success in my professional career.
I started it off as co-leader of one of the best "house-bands" in Atlanta....making good bread, getting to record a lot and playing with great musicians. The mid to late 80s found me playing bass and serving as road manager for a R&R HOF vocal group, traveling all over the world, staying at 5 star hotels and ****ing women that could have jumped out of Playboy.
I wish to hell I had not been ripped to the **** through 80% of it! By all reports, I had an outstanding time!
ohhh okay he coaches now i think. he was from like georgia or ******ia or something.
of course that team was before i was even born but they were definitely great. im pretty sure they were voted one of the 10 best nba teams ever....thats a pretty big honor.

They usually get left out becuase they had no longevity. Moses was gone shortly thereafter and the Doctor was old at that point. For a single season, I would stack them up against anyone.

Its so strange how many of the greatest teams ever (Jordans Bulls, Larry Legends 85-86 Celtics, 83 76'ers, Bill Russells Celtics) were Eastern Conference teams...and now the dynamic is so different with the West largely dominating the NBA (besides the Pistons win last year of course).
I think that 83 team would have stacked up with any other team in history too. I'd love to see them play the 88-89 Pistons. That'd be a classic series.
Those Pistons Teams were bad ass. I think the best teams I've ever seen are Lakers and Celtics (forgot exact year) of the mid 80's, Pistons 89 and Sixers 83
