Although I will admit the 80's were great, I must admit I'm a little biased towards the seventies. Hagler is my favorite fighter, so how could I not love the 80's?

Thanks buddy I changed it just to back up the fellas when they have their backs against the wall. We know they'll pull through though.
speaking of the 80's and the pistons, how would you compare the pistons of dumars, thomas, and laimbeer, to the pistons of the wallace's, billups, and co.?
I dont remember much from the 80's, I was born in 82. Transformers, Thundercats, Voltron, and He-Man where the ****. Especially Transformers, I cried when Optimus Prime died....

for me, the 80's pistons are better
The 80's Pistons were better but not by too much. Both were very similar with their defensive minded, blue-collar styles. Isiah and Joe D. in the back court was straight trouble though. Thomas is one of the 3 best PG's ever IMO and Joe D. is one of the best defensive players to ever do it (DONT ANYONE try to debate this, Michael Jordan said that in multiple interviews so thats gotta be correct). Laimbeer and Mahorn in the middle formed one of the most intimidating PF/C combos ever. They were the heart of the Bad Boys. Add to that one of the best rebounders ever and a great defender in Dennis Rodman, and the amazing bench that featured the best instant offense guy ever in Vinnie "The Microwave" Johnson and you have one of the better teams ever in NBA history. This current Pistons team may be the second coming of the Bad Boys however. Bad Boys 2 if you will...

the thing is both teams played tough defense, probably two of the best in the NBA history. however isiah's pistons were a little dirtier. jordan was pissed off by that team
