You keep talking about NCAA records when we’re now in a pro league.
Again, we’ve acknowledged all this over and over. The only sticking point is you acknowledging what that other wnba players have said about privilege in how the league chooses which players to market and promote.

Clark is a very good player. Very exciting. Not one person has denied that.
How do you know she is likable. That is a ignorant wing bigot code for white and straight, a point many of us have also made but you and others pretend is false.
You don’t know anything about Clark other than race, origin, records, and what you perceive is her ***uality.
She does? Since when? Any black person that claims that is obviously mistaken as I, you and anyone else easily points out. Stop pretending that minority opinion is the majority one to deflect from the point being made.

You bring her and she sits and people like
you with an agenda that know nothing about the game turns it in to a whole thing where the rest of the players and those of us wanting to watch the team can’t enjoy it.
I assume she will be playing at a level in 2028 that warrants a spot on the team.

You fixate on her records. She set the record for turnovers in her first game.
I don’t think you watch the games at all.travestyny likes this.

I do see her competing hard. She also is developing a reputation for crying to the refs too much.
Again, are you watching any of the games?travestyny likes this.

Just because I’m vehemently disagreeing with how ridiculous and biased your takes are doesn’t mean you have to try and play that weak card.Last edited by ShoulderRoll; 07-31-2024, 07:57 AM.

The only plausible argument is Taurasi has 5 golds already. Problem is she isn’t better than her.
Also, FIBA games are much more physical than WNBA games. I don’t think she has the strength to compete.
Attendance is a minor point. Winning the Gold Medal is what we’re here for.
It feels you’re rooting for America to lose. I sure hope that isn’t the case.
edit- Good lord, I can’t even put a woman’s first name because it has J e w in it.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 07-31-2024, 08:06 AM.travestyny likes this.

What- the fact you like her for reasons of race and ***uality. She may come off that way. I don’t recall saying she didn’t.
You clearly aren’t watching games, where she is being called out for complaining to the refs.
Don’t forget to respond to the post about her shooting and turnovers. I notice you like to avoid the hard facts that illustrate where she was and why she wasn’t picked.

lmfao. I haven’t posted anything about Clark that comes close to any criticism like Floyd said of Lin. Lying as usual.
Lesbo card? Race card? You are such a low brow, ignorant bigot that you are incapable of discussing things that impact society.
Griner is a marginal player IYO? This shows, once again, that you aren’t informed or intelligent enough about the WNBA to discuss this with you.
Of course she was headline news. She was wrongfully imprisoned in a Russian prison. That isn’t the same as being marketed and promoted by the league you imbecile.
Clark did set the scoring record in college and has set some records after struggling to start her career in the wnba. She isn’t the best player in the league like LeBron. The league might benefit from marketing the best players in addition to Clark.
No one is mad. Just discussing things.
Floyd said the only reason Lin is getting so much media exposure is because he was Asian. You're basically saying the same thing about Clark, that her media attention is white privilege. If you're going to be a race-card playing crybaby, at least be man enough to own your bias.
Griner is 6'9", she SHOULD lead the league in blocks and dunks, especially when most other players aren't anywhere near her size. Griner broke a few records, Clark already broke some of them. Griner was never talked about before her arrests for domestic violence and drugs in Russia. No one came to her games, WNBA was bleeding out. Now they only talk about her because her wife had a baby, lol.
