U.S. federal judge postpones ***** trial on charges of plotting to overturn 2020 election

A U.S. federal judge in Washington formally postponed Donald *****'s March trial on charges of plotting to overturn the 2020 election as a key legal appeal from the former president continues to work its way through the courts.

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan on Friday vacated the March 4 trial date in the case brought by Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith but did not immediately set a new date.

The move creates an opening for a separate case in New York, charging ***** in connection with hush money payments to a p o r n actor, to proceed first.

The postponement comes as a federal appeals court has yet to resolve a pending appeal from ***** arguing that he is immune from prosecution for actions he took in the White House.

It is not clear when the three-judge panel might rule, but a ruling in favour of prosecutors that permits the case to move forward is expected to be appealed by the ***** team, likely resulting in additional delays.

For both sides, timing is of the essence.

*****, who faces four indictments and 91 felony counts, is looking to push his criminal cases back as he enjoys front-runner status in the race for the 2024 ********** presidential nomination.

Smith's team, meanwhile, is hoping to be able to prosecute ***** this year before the November election.

The Washington case had been expected to take place first, but it has been delayed for weeks by *****'s appeal on immunity grounds.

The appeals court heard arguments on Jan. 9, and though it had said it intended to work quickly, has not yet issued a ruling.

Court cases often have delays so this isn’t unusual but You would think charges related to plotting to overturn a Presidential election would not be delayed.

What’s your evidence that he actually did that?

Idk how they haven't ruled on the immunity issue yet. Seemed cut & dry a President can't literally shoot a mfer on main street & not be charged, but with how wacky sh^t is these days who knows.

Looks like the Feds aren't going to let corruption and weaponized justice interfere with the election any more than it already has. They will let the people decide, as they should.

You see what they are doing to Imran Khan in Pakistan?

They are making a mockery of the US Justice system, and making it look like a 3rd World country like Pakistan. I never thought I'd ever see what is going on by this current administration in the US.

              More than likely.

I'll take the under on cases being dropped.

I do think there is problems there are so many cases tho. Like who gives a fook about this Stormy Daniels sh^t still & if that could interfer with the more serious cases maybe that should be sidelined for the time being, but I don't think things work like that.

Theres clearly issues to be decided legally & ***** has been in court for dumb sh^t hes done well before he was running for President if anyone knows his history. So these cases aren't bs to most unbiased ppl.

The big problem for ***** will ultimately be if he doesn't win the election or doesn't get a chance to run for one of the many reasons in play from his obviously declining health to not being allowed on the ballot. These cases only disappear if he wins imo. If he loses he probably will need to do a coup part 2 attempt lol to avoid getting fooked up.

That said I do suspect if ***** loses & can't fool **** ppl into overturning the results by force once again he'll probably start acting like that movie guy or Bill Cosby when sh^t started to hit them harder & pretend to be more sick/frail than he is cuz hes often taken the victim route with his L's & to gain sympathy/pity by his supporters. Dude probably will by going to court with a walker & blind person accessories or some such bs lmfao.

I will see what is presented in court.

That is why the post lists charges and doesn’t state ***** is guilty.
