Not surprising. I mean, doesn't the market usually do better during wartime? World War 2 got the US out of The Great Depression. Or at least getting involved after Pearl Harbor.

Zaroku actually said something coherent. Did I just enter another part of the multiverse?

That's not the case...the S&P has dropped 12% in the last 3 months (20% for the year), and we are pretty much in a recession.

The flaw in your argument sometimes it could be a bull trap. You think it's gonna go up but it just dips further. Hence, you don't really know when to get back in.

I do options trading and 0dte. That's way more advanced trading.

I'm surprised you still don't get what I was saying about don't time the market. You keep thinking you'd know exactly when to sell and buy back in.
Yeah...I didn't get what you were saying...LOL. So how's your 401K doing? You up lots?

My 401k is fine.. I aint withdrawing till I retire like 10+yrs from now.

I got what you are saying. If i know what will happen in the future, i can actively manage my 401k but it's been proven that it's best to just leave your 401k alone

I hope no one was retired or planning to retire during Joe *****'s presidency. He's decimated peoples' 401Ks - thanks, Joe!

Anyone who was going to retire soon and have all their 401k in equity is an idiot. If you are near retirement you should have transferred majority of 401k to more stable funds.
