Quinton Jones executed, celebrities advocated to keep him alive

This man was executed. He was in jail for killing his aunt by beating her with a baseball bat. Over money.

Yet, celebrities were advocating to keep him alive.
    Why?

    Somebody, anybody, tell me why?

    Killa mane?
    Big dumb?
    Bozo the clown?

Want to take a crack at this one?

I'm not against the death penalty if there is absolutely no doubt of guilt, which was the case here.

He did, in fact, beat an 84 year old women to death with a baseball bat.

This is why executions need to be carried out swiftly. Death row inmates should not be allowed to go 15 - 20 years or more before being executed. Give them one appeal if there is any shred of doubt, still guilty afterwards, take them to the chamber and blow out their candle.

I’m against the death penalty. Only non human animals should be put down. We’re not about that in Europe which is the best continent on Earth.

You watch too much news & care too much about stuff outside your control bruh.

I've never heard of this guy, but my assumption would be the celebs trying to keep him alive are against the death penalty &/or he did some good things with his time in prison despite the fooked up thing that got him in prison & they feel he should be able to keep living for that reason.

You should look up why they don't want him to die doe since you are into it & tell us. I doubt its not being discussed by them.

For full disclosure I'm ALL FOR killing some fooked up mfers. I think anyone who's murdered someone, ****d someone & ******ed children don't deserve to exist in our society & shouldn't even have access to those in our society, even prison guards. Idk that a decent % of folks who've done those things can be rehab'd or should even be attempted to be rehab'd & our prison system doesn't even try to rehab most folks so thats kinda a mute point anyway. So if you've done something THAT horrific or violent to another living person you just need to be punished to max ability which is death.

                  I agree.

I think there should be a jury for the trial to determine if you are guilty or not guilty for these violent & deadly crimes as things currently work & if you are found guilty by them you go directly to another jury or it can be part of the first jury to decide how malicious the crime was & how much doubt it was you that you were found guilty of. If its deemed too malicious of a crime & there is no doubt it was you they take you directly to the place you'll be executed at. There is zero reason to keep folks like this around if they are THAT fooked up.

Maybe they saw this happen in Texas and wondered why it couldn't be done in Quinton Jones' case.

Texas grants clemency to Thomas Whitaker minutes before execution

The governor decided Thomas Whitaker, who killed his mother and brother, will not be executed.
