I don't really think having a favorable opinion about *** makes you biased though or should eliminate anyone from serving jury duty. He made it clear that he meant the movement but not necessarily the organization (the same way I feel about it). Hopefully most black people would think that "Black Lives Matter." In fact, hopefully all people would feel that way, regardless of what they think about the organization itself. So that would have been like eliminating most black people from participating in this trial. That he attended the event shows that he clearly thinks deeply about the betterment of black people, but why shouldn't he? I'd rather have him on the jury instead of someone who says, "Man, I don't care about all that. I just wanna get money and fvvck bltches," or even worse, someone who believes Black lives don't matter.

You aren't thinking straight. You are too caught up in your agenda. Chauvin's conduct was shredded by fellow police officers. He was found guilty by a jury of his peers. Whether Floyd was a model citizen isn't relevant. Police deal with people who are on the fringe of society often. It's part of their job and it's a major reason they have a job. Chauvin murdered this guy in plain sight and you defend him. You should take some time and reflect in what you are saying because you are way too biased to make a rational judgement. There are times when police have to use lethal force. This wasn't one of them. Taking control of the situation would be to let Floyd sit on the sidewalk with his hands cuffed untill he calmed down.

We ALL have biases. I'm all for cops doing what they must, WITHIN REASON, to get a situation under COMPLETE CONTROL.

Me condemning a guy for murdering a subdued suspect doesn't mean I'm hugging criminals as they are mugging old ladies. Why are you always in the fantasy of good & evil or w/e you are always talking about instead of the reality of we are gonna have criminals & we are gonna have cops that gotta take them in to be dealt with?

Either laws work how they work or they don't & we got chaos. Cops can't be criminals or they lose their power, like I'd argue they have been more & more with their crimes against citizens. Cops are the middleman of the legal system not the judge who decides folks gotta die over passing fake money.
