Ok. So you are officially on record saying that a police officer kneeling on a man's neck who has no pulse does not qualify as a depraved mind. He's just too ****** to know how dangerous that is
Even though the definition for deadly force, which you agreed to, shows that he would be conscious of his actions being dangerous, but you didn't mention that for some reason.
Give me a break. You can come clean about wanting this guy to get off on an easier charge because of your *** resentment any day now. Keep it real.
The fact this guy was doing his job and some form of what he was trained to do, makes it awfully hard to argue he showed up to commit a crime. It’s also hard to say beyond a shadow of a doubt he has a “depraved mind” when he could just have not been fully aware of the situation from his vantage point.
The general application of those charges usually leave no doubt from the jump...like a guy kills someone during a robbery or someone fires a gun indiscriminately into a crowd etc.
I happen feel that the manslaughter charge fits the situation best, it’s just an opinion. You have yours, but I’m not here trying to convince you that you really believe this guy is guilty of manslaughter and not one of the murder charges, or telling you to “stop playing prosecutor” etc and linking it all to some resentment for cops or white people or whatever. Calm down.

I know you are convinced Chauvin committed cold blooded murder and maybe he did but as of yet I haven't made up my mind. The Bulldog reference was not meant as an insult but a comment on you not budging from your position. I trust the jury will make the right decision.Last edited by travestyny; 04-14-2021, 01:50 AM.

Second degree and third murder which Chauvin is charged with do not involve premeditation. They are appropriate charges due to his conduct. I personally think he is guilty of second degree murder. I don't think a verdict of manslaughter is a fair judgement of what happened and would be an outrageous verdict.
