Even though the definition for deadly force, which you agreed to, shows that he would be conscious of his actions being dangerous, but you didn't mention that for some reason.

Give me a break. You can come clean about wanting this guy to get off on an easier charge because of your *** resentment any day now. Keep it real.
Lol, you went through all this just to circle back to your “*** resentment” theory?

The fact this guy was doing his job and some form of what he was trained to do, makes it awfully hard to argue he showed up to commit a crime. It’s also hard to say beyond a shadow of a doubt he has a “depraved mind” when he could just have not been fully aware of the situation from his vantage point.

The general application of those charges usually leave no doubt from the jump...like a guy kills someone during a robbery or someone fires a gun indiscriminately into a crowd etc.

I happen feel that the manslaughter charge fits the situation best, it’s just an opinion. You have yours, but I’m not here trying to convince you that you really believe this guy is guilty of manslaughter and not one of the murder charges, or telling you to “stop playing prosecutor” etc and linking it all to some resentment for cops or white people or whatever. Calm down.

The Bulldog reference was not meant as an insult but a comment on you not budging from your position. I trust the jury will make the right decision.
Fair enough. Though I have to say that if you are unconvinced that Chauvin deserves murder charges at this point where the prosecutors have completed their arguments, then it's safe to say the defense won't convince you of that. So already we can conclude that you think it would be unjust if he were found guilty of murder. Personally, I find that to be outrageous, but you are welcome to your opinion.

Well I don't know what else it could be if you don't think kneeling on a man with no pulse displays a depraved mind. Me thinking you have *** resentment should be seen as somewhat of a compliment, since the other options aren't nearly as nice in my opinion. I never would have thought anyone would try to argue that what this guy did was somehow less than evil. The man was told when the victim was passing out, was told that he had no pulse, should have known better not only as a trained policeman but as someone who should have some fvvcking common sense, and to try to give him a pass because he was too ****** to know. Yea, ok.

I'm calm. I'm just surprised at you guys. Some of the posters here I knew how they would play it. But some of you really surprised me with this. So it's like Muhammad Noor, the guy who got startled and shot into a dark alley killing the white woman who called him. That qualifies as a depraved mind. But kneeling on the neck of a man after you are told he has no pulse...not a depraved mind? Man... you are certainly welcome to your opinion. I'll leave it at that.

I agree that Chauvin probably did not show up to commit a crime. However premeditation is not a requisite for murder. If you look at the definition of murder premeditation is reserved for first degree murder.

Second degree and third murder which Chauvin is charged with do not involve premeditation. They are appropriate charges due to his conduct. I personally think he is guilty of second degree murder. I don't think a verdict of manslaughter is a fair judgement of what happened and would be an outrageous verdict.

How desperate is Chauvins defence? They're arguing the car exhaust killed him.

Police mostly suck. Usually a bunch of uneducated idiots.
I don’t know why people on this forum seem to think they’re all that great. It’s a job that needs to be done but that doesn’t make the people doing it any good.
