Cardiac arrest just means the heart stops, you stop breathing, and lose consciousness. What does that have to do with whether it's a homicide or not?

I said you can’t dismiss his heart condition, is all. Homicide on a ME report is one of a handful of broad categories, it doesn’t automatically equate to murder. People act like it’s an open and shut case simply cuz it was ruled “Homicide”. I’m through with this convo anyway...I’m getting pegged as being on this cops side or defending him, which isn’t the case. I believe he should be convicted, but Just not of murder. This process is supposed to put politics and emotions aside, and I hope that’s what happens.

You can when the cause of death is listed as a homicide. The conclusion is that if Chauvin didn't put his knee on his neck for 9 minutes he wouldn't have died face down in the street. There is no evidence that he died for any other reason. It's that simple.
